Dr. Ricardo Schmidt chose radiology because it is a specialty that demands attention to detail and constant learning, bringing together medical knowledge and technology, two of his passions.
He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel) in 2020 and completed his residency in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at Hospital Ministro Costa Cavalcanti (HMCC), now Hospital Itamed, in Foz do Iguaçu, in 2024.
He has been at Vita Imagem since 2021 and works at Torre Marechal, Hospital Unimed and Hospital Itamed. He performs CT, ultrasound (including obstetric and fetal anatomy scans), mammography and X-ray, and sees patients in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Born in São Miguel do Oeste (SC), he is a father of two.
