Dr. Michael is a physician, born in Juiz de Fora (MG), and has been part of the Vita Imagem team since 2025. He performs ultrasound and mammography exams at Torre Marechal, Hospital Unimed and Hospital Itamed, and sees patients in Portuguese, English and Spanish. He likes imaging for the challenge that each exam brings.
Medicine came after many other paths. Before becoming a doctor, he was a street dance teacher, an industrial computing technician, a systems analyst (a graduate of UNIEURO) and served in the Brazilian Air Force as an air traffic controller. The decision to study Medicine came from an emergency: he wanted to help, but realized he did not yet have the knowledge to do so. From there came the wish to turn the will to help into the ability to care. He graduated in Medicine from Universidad Privada del Este (UPE), in Paraguay, in 2023, with his diploma revalidated by the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF).
He has lived in Foz do Iguaçu for 10 years and is a father of three. He is passionate about technology and about understanding how things work, and weight training is the moment when he takes care of himself and eases the routine. In his free time, he also enjoys traveling, listening to music and playing video games.
