Dr. Piotto chose radiology out of fascination with the specialty and for the opportunity, as technology advances, to contribute to ever earlier diagnoses that help the attending doctor guide each patient’s treatment.
Born in Curitiba (PR), he graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in 1989 and completed his residency in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) in 1994. He has practiced radiology since 1990 and holds a specialist title from the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR), of which he is a member.
He is one of the founders of Vita Imagem, which began in 1995 when he and Dr. Elaine Lucia Rossoni came together, and he is still part of the radiology team today. He works at Torre Marechal, Hospital Unimed and Hospital Itamed, where he performs MRI, CT, mammography and X-ray, with a special interest in prostate imaging exams. He sees patients in Portuguese, English and Italian.
