Since childhood, Dr. Christovao Peres thought about becoming a doctor and helping people: he kept an infirmary at the back of his parents’ house, where he cared for injured birds. Later on, his attraction to diagnosis led him to imaging.
He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in 1987 and completed his residency in General Surgery at Hospital de Clínicas da UFPR in 1990. He has worked in diagnostic imaging since 2000 and holds a title in Diagnostic Imaging, with practice limited to General Ultrasound, from the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR), of which he is a member.
He has been at Vita Imagem since 2005 and works at Torre Marechal. He performs ultrasound, including Doppler and fetal anatomy scans, with a special interest in vascular Doppler, as well as mammography. He sees patients in Portuguese and Spanish.
Born in Santo Antônio da Platina (PR), he has lived in Foz do Iguaçu since 2005 and is the father of two daughters. He has played tennis since his teenage years, which for him is mental relaxation and regular exercise, and he also enjoys traveling and reading. A fun fact: he has written a book.
