Accreditation is an assessment carried out by an external institution, which checks whether a healthcare service follows quality and patient safety standards. It is not a one day award: it is an ongoing process, with periodic assessments.
What Qmentum is
Qmentum is an international healthcare accreditation program that started in Canada. It has recognition levels, and Diamond is the highest: besides meeting the standards, the service must show that it measures its results and uses that data to keep improving.
